Versatile Cymbal Elements! An elegant way to end your creation: earrings, bracelets or necklaces. Pilos works with any pattern that starts or finishes with size 8\O seed beads (Toho or Miyuki), but don't stop there! You can also use it with 11\O (you might need to add a 15\0 on either side of the bead substitute). I've also seen it used to end beadwork using SuperDuos and GemDuos. You get a nice, clean ending with no multiple stitching into a clasp. Simply add an earring finding or attach a clasp to the end loop with a jump ring.
And if you make puffy stars, the Pilos is a brilliant way to hang them, far nicer than just a beaded loop. Stitch it in as a substitute for your last row.
