Artistic Wire, 18 Gauge
Artistic Wire has long been the go-to choice for wire wrapping, but it is also suitable for loom work, chain maille, jig work, weaving, and even crochet. Griffin Silk, also on this site, is a better choice for knotting. 18 Gauge is on the thicker end of the wrapping wire, but still extremely flexible because the temper is dead soft.
NOTES:
- Gold, Tarnish Resistant Silver, Hematite, Rose Gold and Champagne are all Silver Plated.
- Silver Plated means silver plating over a pure copper core, then comes the color and then a lacquer finish. This gives you a lovely sheen, stable color and improves tarnish resistance.
